Bombardment of trenches 74 and 75 by German heavy gun about 300 yards away. Trench 75 garrisoned by C Coy, blown in near house 7, and 2 men Privates Heard and Medley killed in C Coy, also three men wounded. Gun appears to be the same which fired 3 shells into the Asylum on the 27th.
9pm to 6pm
Work on parapets and new dugouts continued.
