6th Battalion D Coy January 1916 , Lieut. T. B. Coultas, killed on September 26, was the only son of the late Mr. And Mrs. T Coultas. of St. Peter s Hill, Grantham. He was 22 years of age and was educated at Halleybury College and Queens College, Cambridge, where he had taken his degree. In September, 1914 he was gazetted to the East Yorkshire Regiment, and served in Gallipoli, where he was wounded and. subsequently on other fronts. On September 26, while he was gallantly lending an attack against a concealed party of the enemy he was hit and instantly killed. , Led the attack on Mouquet Farm and captured 1 Officer and 36 Men
