12.30am, A raid was undertaken by B. Coy. This was planned by Captain HN MARRIOTT in conjunction with the artillery. LIEUT N CONSTANT, 2nd LIEUT JL ROBERTSON and 2nd LIEUT A HOULT took part. The party successfully entered the German trenches, but found them deserted. After remaining about half an hour, they returned: Casualties. Other Ranks missing one, wounded four. Point of entry S.16. a.75.85.
